With more than 500 Kuwaiti Colleague & High School Juniors participating

NBK Successfully Concludes its Summer Internship Program "NBK Academy"

NBK, recently concluded its summer internship program "NBK Academy", exclusively designed to provide professional banking training for national Kuwaiti colleague and high school juniors during the summer season with more than 500 trainees participating in the various sessions of the program.

In a speech delivered at the conclusion of the program, NBK- Kuwait CEO, Isam J. Al Sager said the launch of NBK Academy comes as an extension of NBK's educational outreach services and a demonstration of the Bank's long-standing social involvement as well as its national commitment towards providing the young generations with the appropriate opportunities to experience first hand the actual banking profession.

Al Sager added that more than 500 Kuwaiti colleague and high school students had benefited from the program from the 5-hour daily sessions of the two-week internship which featured a mixture of theoretical and practical training, indicating that the trainees were also involved in several social and philanthropic activities conducted by NBK during this summer within the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility.
