In its special Travel Safe Program and in collaboration with ALICO
 
NBK insures its customers against travel hazards
 during New Year & Eid Al Adha Holidays
 
With the approach of New Year & Eid Al Adha’s holidays this year, and with the increase of Kuwaitis traveling to spend their forthcoming holidays abroad, there is usually an increase in demand for the safest and most developed insurance products against travel risks that can occur while traveling. 
 
In this context, Deputy Group General Manager for Consumer Banking at National Bank of Kuwait, Tareq Sulaiman Al Ghanim, declares that “NBK is inviting its Kuwaiti customers who are planning to travel during this season’s holidays to avail from NBK’s Travel Safe Program which covers any possible risk or hazard encountering travelers, whether individual or families, who are traveling abroad.
 
As on how to obtain this service, Al Ghanim explains that it is easy and fast to register in the program by calling Hala Watani 801801, visiting NBK’s website www.nbk.com or simply visiting any NBK branch The Travel Safe Program is ready to cover travel risks and hazards such as death incident or loss of membranes in an accident, in which case the program will offer coverage up to KD 50,000 as a compensation for the loss. Furthermore, it offers coverage up to KD 30,000 in case of any emergency medical evacuation needed to save a serious health condition or injury, besides offering the payment of up to KD 30,000 to cover the accident &sickness medical expenses and up to KD300 in additional  prescription medication
 
Al Ghanim further elaborates that the program has taken into consideration the loss of luggage incidents that may occur during the voyage, and therefore is ready to pay up to KD 700 for that. Whereas if a delay occurs in delivering the luggage to a traveler, the program will be happy to offer him approx. KD 150 to buy his basic requirements. On the other hand, if an insured traveler was the cause for an accident to happen abroad, the program will cover a maximum of KD 170,000 but under his personal responsibility.
 
Mr. Al Ghanim added that NBK’s travel safe program has become essential request for getting schenger visa too .
