NBK wins Kuwait's 1st CSR Award - 2007   

In the Face of Fierce Competition

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the leading bank in Kuwait and the Middle East region, has scooped Kuwait's first and highly-coveted national Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award 2007. The accolade was awarded to NBK in the face of fierce competition, at a special ceremony held on Tuesday, January 22, under the auspices of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Jassem Mohammad Al –Kharafi, at Sheikha Salwa Al-Sabah Ballroom.

Accepting the award on behalf of NBK, PR Manager Manal Al Mattar said "It is indeed an honor to be awarded Kuwait's First CSR Award by the Higher Organizing Committee of Kuwait Corporate Social Responsibility Award, which reflects our impressive CSR portfolio as well as our dedication to community service".

"At NBK, We have always endeavored to make positive difference in the communities where we live and work, taking a leadership role in supporting and proactively participating in the various concerns of our local community" Al Mattar added.
