National Bank of Kuwait announced plans to raise the monthly Al Jawhara first prize to KD 125,000 & increase the total prizes from 64 to 100 prizes. This increase takes the total of the Al Jawhara prizes to an impressive KD 2,000,000 each year, clearly positioning NBK as the front runner in delivering valuable rewards and benefits to its loyal customers. This change will take effect from the February draw.

 

Mr. Tareq S. Al Ghanim, Deputy General Manager of Personal Banking Services said: “The Al Jawhara draws are held on the second Tuesday of every month with prizes being awarded to a total of 100 lucky NBK customers. The first prize winner receives KD 125,000  the second place winner receives KD 7,500, the third winner is awarded KD 3,000 and the remaining 97 winners are each awarded with KD 400.

 

Mr. Al Ghanim concluded: “The Al Jawhara account offers many benefits for our customers. Not only is it an interest-free account, but anyone can open an account by simply obtaining a certificate for KD 50. Every KD 50 in the account automatically entitles account holders to an entry into the monthly draw; therefore, the more money kept in an Al Jawhara account, the greater the chances of winning.”

 

The Al Jawhara account must be opened with a minimum balance of KD 50 for at least one month prior to the next draw, and the account should remain open on the actual date of the draw. Winners are announced in local newspapers, at NBK branches and at www.nbk.com. Prizes are automatically credited to the winners’ accounts the day after the draw. In addition to the exciting monthly prizes, the Jawhara account can be used for ordinary deposits or withdrawals from any of NBK’s branches throughout Kuwait.
