OPENING A BROKERAGE ACCOUNT
How to open an account with International Brokerage
If you are interested in opening an individual Brokerage account, visit us at "Dar Al-Awadi" building, Ahmad Al-Jaber street, 8th floor and we will assist you or you can follow these simple instructions:
1. You must first have an account with NBK, if you don't, visit the NBK branch nearest you and the branch staff will be happy to assist you open an account with us. You must have the ATM card and the PIN number associated with the card present in order for us to be able to establish a Brokerage account.
2. Visit Watani Online www.nbk.com, go to "Watani Online" found in the top left hand corner of the screen in the "Online Services" box then click on "Join".
3. If you are already a Watani Online user, please go to Step 4. Otherwise enter the last 8 digits of your Watani ATM card number, ATM PIN number, and create a password as specified in the password field. After creating the password, you must read and agree the Online Banking Service Terms and Conditions.
4. Once you are a Watani Online member, log on to your account and click on "Online Brokerage" under the "Application" menu.
5. Complete the online application form and click Submit Application.
6. To finalize the process, you must visit us in NBK head office 2 to sign the online brokerage account application form.
How to login into your brokerage account
1. From nbk.com click on to the Brokerage page and then select Start Trading.
2. Using the assigned user name and password specified in the e-mail you received from Watani Online, log on to the brokerage site.
3. You will be prompted to change your password for security purposes. Once you have done so, you will have access to your new brokerage account immediately.
How to transfer funds into your Brokerage account
Now that you have opened an account with us, there remains one more step before you can begin to trade: a minimum of $25,000 deposit to your brokerage account is required. Following are the steps:
1. Log on to your brokerage account. 2. Click on TRANSFER FUNDS. 3. Enter you ATM card number and WOL password. 4. Specify that you wish to transfer "To Brokerage Account"
5. Specify the amount you wish to transfer. 6. Press "Enter".
Similarly to transfer money back from your brokerage account, repeat steps 1-4, and then specify that you wish to transfer "From Brokerage Account".
How to place an order
Using your NBK brokerage account is simple, convenient and time saving. Just follow these steps:
1. Log on to your brokerage account by inputting your ID and password.
2. Click on the TRADING tab. The BUY/SELL Stock web page will appear allowing you to begin.
3. Fill in the information required, starting with: a) The stock symbol of the company whose stock you want to trade
(to check current or most recent quote for the stock, click "Get Quote".) b) The transaction type (BUY/SELL) of the stock you wish to deal with
from your portfolio.
c) The quantity of shares you want to trade.
d) The type of order you want to place; (Market/Limit/Stop/All-or-None/Fill-
or-Kill)*.
e) The price you want to trade at (assuming that it is not a market order). f) The duration of the transaction; (DAY/GTC)*. g) The account type; (Cash, Margin)

4. Click on reviewing your order before finalizing the transaction and you are set to go.
That's it! Your order has been sent to the market. Assuming it is at the right price, your order will be executed within seconds. Shortly an execution report will appear on your screen confirming the transaction execution. If it does not appear or if you simply want to check up on your order,
click the "Order Status" link in the left column of the site. It will inform you instantaneously whether your order has been executed, is pending or is still open. If it has yet to be executed, you can also cancel or change the order.
To review your transactions and new account information, click the PORTFOLIO tab at the top of the site. In addition to this information, your Portfolio section allows you to better manage your account by allowing you to review your transaction history, balances and holdings, all of which can be accessed from the left column.
