NBK's SMS Banking service sends personalized financial alerts to customers' mobile phones using SMS technology.
 
NBK customers with Zain mobile numbers or Wataniya can easily sign up to this by visiting their branch or calling Hala Watani at 801801 to receive alerts directly in real time when an amount is credited or debited with KD10 or more to your account .

That includes all transactions that have been conducted through:

Cash Withdrawals
You will receive an alert when you withdraw an amount from ATM or other with an amount of KD10 or more.

Cash Deposits
You will receive an alert when you deposit an amount through Cash Deposit machines or other with an amount of KD10 or more.


Point of Sale (POS)
You will receive an alert for every purchase conducted through point of sale machines with an amount of KD10 or more.


Payments through Watani Online*:
- Payments to credit cards
- MTC and Wataniya
- School Fees
- CFC

Transfers through Watani Online*:
- Transfers between your accounts
- Local transfers
- International transfers
 
* Please note that you will not receive any SMS message for transfers or payments 
   less than KD10. 
 
Salary Advice
When your salary is credited in your account.

 Example:
From: 801801
Your account 0101 has been debited (credited)
