The NBK Tap & Pay Service is a banking technology innovation that’s now a feature on all NBK Cards.
Further, in a first for Kuwait and the GCC, we are proud to introduce NBK Tap & Pay Wristbands and Stickers. With these most innovative banking products, you just need to tap your card, wristband or sticker on any NBK Tap & Pay POS terminal to process your payment. And even better, all our ATMs and CDMs are now NFC-enabled, meaning you no longer need to insert your card into the machine: just tap your card against the designated area, enter your password and use the ATM as normal.
What’s more, NBK Quick Pay also ensures secure money transfers 24/7. All you need is the email or mobile number of your payer, and you can receive money from any NBK or local account with just a few taps.

Continuing our journey of innovation in banking services, NBK is now the first bank in the Middle East to offer exciting new biometric features that will make payments simple, safe and secure. Forget about passwords or PINs every time you need to make an online payment – instead, with the new NBK SelfiePay, your face is your password. Using advanced technology, the NBK SelfiePay ensures that your online payment transactions on your NBK Mastercard Credit Card are authorised when your phone identifies your face – and this also works with your fingerprint as well, making it doubly safe. This feature can be activated by downloading the ID Check on the NBK Mobile Banking App.
And in case you want to get in touch with one of our Service Officers, you can even have a direct Video Chat with them, or talk to them on WhatsApp.
Another latest solution from NBK is our latest partnership with RippleNet to offer seamless, instant cross-border payments to our customers – and NBK is the first bank in Kuwait to be a part of the burgeoning RippleNet network.
