NBK Paris

NBK set up a branch in Paris in 1987 as part of its initial strategy to capture investment and trade flows with Kuwait and to service Kuwaiti customers and provide convenient and secure locations for their deposits, for expenses when traveling in Europe or for longer-term investment security. The Paris office became officially a branch of NBK International in 1996 when NBK merged its two European operations in Paris and London to improve the efficiency of services it provides to its customers in France and Southern Europe.

Today, NBKI Paris, which is based in the landmark Avenue des Champs Elysees, provides wholesale services as well as private banking. Trade finance is one focus area, supporting trade and other cross-border transactions with Kuwait and the Middle East. Paris has recently increased the scope of its trade finance activity to cover North Africa, a region which has a natural affinity to France, and where linkages to Kuwait and the Gulf are increasing as well.

Paris Private Banking offers traditional financial products and assistance as well real estate advisory services to assist investors in the acquisition and financing of commercial and residential real estate properties.
