NBK RISE

The NBK RISE program is a comprehensive women leadership development program initiated by NBK with the aim of empowering and advancing women into higher leadership roles. NBK RISE is a nine-months program developed in collaboration with prestigious international organizations including IE Business School, INSEAD and Franklin Covey, to provide world-class training to the participants.

NBK is committed to responsible employment and to promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. In 2023, we took decisive steps by developing a Staff Complaint, Grievance and Non-Retaliation Policy which was formalized by the Board of Directors.

The policy was put in place to foster a culture of transparency and trust and to ensure that employees are treated fairly and without discrimination regardless of gender, race, color, language, religion, political opinion or other status.

In efforts to promote a positive and supportive working environment for all employees, NBK offers its parental leave benefits to cover all male employees, who are eligible for parental leave of three working days. Focused on promoting the well-being of its employees, NBK has developed a comprehensive employee wellness program addressing physical, mental, family and community aspects.

To improve physical health, NBK partnered with Wara Hospital to provide employees with specialized on-site medical care including first aid and occupational health. We are committed to promoting employee fitness. NBK has collaborated with Inspire Health Club to operate NBK’s on-site gym.

Prioritizing employee mental well-being, a dedicated well-being page was established on NBK Learning Hub with six programs that focused on managing stress, diversity at the workplace, understanding emotions, well-being at work, fostering mutual respect, as well as ways of increasing wellbeing.
