Bankee Kuwait's First School Financial Literacy Program
In partnership with MOE and Nazaha, we launched Bankee to promote financial inclusion among students. Using an interactive classroom economy, it teaches earning, spending, and saving, fostering a resilient financial culture in Kuwait’s youth. The Bankee program in Kuwait has reached:

Nurturing Local Talent
NBK strongly believes in the importance of nurturing the Kuwaiti youth by attracting talents and providing them with all means of support to help them navigate their way into the labor market. Our strategy and approach strongly align with Kuwait National Development Plan (KNDP) and serve the country’s strategic agenda to drive economic growth and create job opportunities for the Kuwaiti youth.
Our Programs
NBK Academy
Since 2008, we have welcomed national talent from Kuwait’s top universities through the NBK Academy. This 7-month program offers intensive training in tech, behavior, design thinking, and banking, supporting career growth and Kuwait’s nationalization goals.

Since 2019, we strategically sponsored the Tamakan program, developed by Creative Confidence. This 10-week full-time initiative hosts participants across NBK Departments, offering them unique access to Executive Management through open discussions, inspiring talks, and hands-on workshops.

NBK is a strategic partner of Bayt Abdullah Children's Hospice (BACCH) in Kuwait, providing pediatric palliative care to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Founded in 2014, Center 21 is a center which offers support services for adults with special needs aged 21 and above. NBK has played an instrumental role in promoting and encouraging people with disabilities to achieve their full potential by sponsoring a number of programs and initiatives.

NBK’s strategic partnership with Creative Confidence empowers the development of two crucial programs: Tamakan training program which aims at nurturing the youth and developing national talent, as well as Bankee which is Kuwait’s first hands-on school financial literacy program.

KALD is a non-profit organization based in Kuwait that supports students with learning difference (LDs) and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). For several years, NBK was a key endorser of KALD’s Preserving Student Award which aims at encouraging students with LDs and ADHD to improve their academic performance and development.
