Financial Inclusion and Literacy

We are committed to empowering our communities not only by expanding our efforts in social responsibility but also by making banking more accessible and affordable to all. We believe financial inclusion and financial literacy empower all individuals by equipping them with the right skills and knowledge to recognize the value of the resources at the reach of their hands.

Bankee Kuwait's First School Financial Literacy Program

In partnership with MOE and Nazaha, we launched Bankee to promote financial inclusion among students. Using an interactive classroom economy, it teaches earning, spending, and saving, fostering a resilient financial culture in Kuwait’s youth. The Bankee program in Kuwait has reached:

Let's Be Aware

Launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in 2021, the "Let's Be Aware" campaign empowers customers to transact safely, promotes financial inclusion, and raises awareness of e-transactions and cybersecurity. We proudly support CBK's efforts to enhance financial literacy and combat financial crime.

Nurturing Local Talent

NBK strongly believes in the importance of nurturing the Kuwaiti youth by attracting talents and providing them with all means of support to help them navigate their way into the labor market. Our strategy and approach strongly align with Kuwait National Development Plan (KNDP) and serve the country’s strategic agenda to drive economic growth and create job opportunities for the Kuwaiti youth.

Our Programs

NBK Academy

Since 2008, we have welcomed national talent from Kuwait’s top universities through the NBK Academy. This 7-month program offers intensive training in tech, behavior, design thinking, and banking, supporting career growth and Kuwait’s nationalization goals.

Launched in 2023, NBK Tech Academy is Kuwait's first data and digital academy. The 6-month program offers intensive training in FinTech, data analytics, cybersecurity, coding, digital payments, innovation, and AI-preparing future leaders in tech and innovation at NBK.

Tamakan
