In order to provide you with the highest standards of safety and security, all new and renewed NBK Cards are now issued in inactive mode. This ensures it cannot be used by unauthorized individuals before being delivered to you.
Who is it for?
This service is applicable for all NBK Customers who have been issued new or renewed NBK Cards. You are required to activate your card in order to be able to use it.
What do I get?
You get the assurance that your new card has never been used by unauthorized individuals.
How Do I Get It?
You can activate your NBK Credit or Debit Card through NBK Mobile Banking, NBK Online Banking, any NBK ATM or NBK Call Center. To activate your renewed NBK Prepaid Card, please use NBK Mobile Banking, NBK Online Banking or call 1801801.
Can I activate my card through a normal POS machine?
You can only activate your card through NBK channels.
Do I need to activate my card if it is issued through NBK Branch?
If you have requested your card to be issued instantly in the branch, your card will be activated by your Relationship Officer after validating your identity.
How can I activate my newly issued NBK Prepaid Card?
Your new NBK Prepaid Card does not require activation, as it has been issued with zero balance and you can use it after loading the card through NBK channels.
